I know a lot of you don’t want to see Jimmy’s grave today, but I just had to post this picture and give a little bit of the story.

I went to visit Jimmy’s grave today in honor of his anniversary, when I first got there a guy was telling stories with a huge smile on his face of all the adventures that he had had with The Rev. He a lot of really impressive heart-felt Rev tattoos on his left arm.

After being there for a half hour a guy in a black cowboy hat pulled up that we immediately recognized as Joe Sullivan, Jimmy’s dad. The guy telling stories ran over and gave him a big hug and he came over and introduced himself to all of us. He asked us all to tell our stories about Jimmy and a7x and had many follow up stories about his son. It was so cool to here the two perspectives on the same story between his dad and friend.

His dad was such a sweet guy and listened to my story. He told us about their traditions to celebrate Jimmy and that his wife keeps all the stuff left on his grave. He was so excited about all the drawings, letters, pictures, and flowers left on the grave.

In short, I’m posting the pictures to show how much everyone loved Jimmy to come out and put that stuff on his grave and how much his dad loved and appreciated it.

It was such an amazing experience to get to talk to them and hear about The Rev’s life. Oh, and his dad sounds just like him.
